POOR BOX
Whoever cares for the poor lends to the Lord,
who will pay back the sum in full” (Prov. 19:17).The Pastoral Council, in conjunction with Father Pat, decided that an option to allow people a daily opportunity to contribute alms to the poor would be served by the addition of a Poor Box to the entry of the church. If a member of the parish seeks temporary financial assistance due to an inability to support themselves and/or their families, the pastor, and the director of pastoral care in conjunction with at least one member of the Pastoral Council or Outreach Committee may designate monies to assist that person/family.
