Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, The Last Supper is the inspiration for this live production to be presented at St. Michael’s Church, 175 Williams Rd., Troy, NY on Sunday, April 13 at 4:00 p.m.
The painting comes alive with the human emotions of Jesus and the twelve apostles as Jesus announces His betrayal by one of his chosen disciples. Jesus’ proclamation forces each Apostle to question his relationship with God’s Son and wonder “Is it I?” who will betray Him.
In turn, the audience is challenged to put themselves in the position of each Apostle and ask themselves “What would I do?”
Please join us as we begin the observance of Holy Week, through the celebration of Holy Thursday, the Passion of Good Friday and Christ’s joyous Resurrection on Easter with this unique and thought-provoking presentation.
If interested in staying after the presentation for pizza, salad and refreshments, please contact the church (518-283-6110) to assist us in planning the event. Admission is free.
